Our New Beginner Tai Chi & Qigong classes at The Mytchett Centre introduce beginners to the principles of Tai Chi & Qigong, learning correct posture to ease pressure on joints and gently loosening and stretching the body to relieve aches and pains and strengthen the body, whilst learning a new skill.
You will learn a traditional series of movements called a form, building progressively week on week.
Tai Chi & Qigong have been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood and sleep, help with relaxation, balance and posture and promote overall good health.
You can leave the class by letting us know that you won't be renewing at the end of a block of classes. Each block is about 6 weeks long and builds on what was learnt in the previous block.
