Monday and Tuesday Mytchett groups have video access included with their class subscription and will receive the password via email.
All other groups and Zoom participants can purchase one calendar month's video subscription as an add-on at class renewal or later, from the Video Channel page
January 2025 - Qigong
We will cover the Yang Sheng Gong, Health preservation energy exercises. This is a flowing set of exercises which involve bending stretching and twisting the body to influence the flow of internal energy which the Chinese call Qi/Chi, as well as strengthening the body and improving flexibility

We begin the Tuesday 6.30 class with 10-15 minutes of mindfulness and meditation. Here is a series of Qigong meditations sometimes used in class

We often start or finish a class with this short Qigong set which was taught to me by Ben, my first teacher. Ben was unsure of the origins of the set but believed it to come from the Southern Chinese Martial Arts tradition. I just call it 'Ben's Qigong'.
